IFC has ordered a follow-up to a comedy project from Will Ferrell that aired earlier this year, EW.com’s Inside TV reports. The new project is a sequel to the spoof “The Spoils of Babylon,” a six-episode miniseries that ran on IFC in January and February.

The sequel, “The Spoils Before Dying,” is scheduled for summer 2015, the report notes.

Will Ferrell, who executive produced the original project, will return as author and wine fan Eric Jonrosh, who introduces and closes each episode. The sequel is based on Jonrosh’s supposed first novel, about a jazz pianist who becomes a private detective in the 1950s.

A celebrity cast will be disclosed at a later point, the story notes. “The Spoils of Babylon” featured stars including Tobey Maguire, Tim Robbins, Jessica Alba and Kristen Wiig.
