An on-air personality who has been a familiar face in the NBC morning lineup is reportedly on the short list to claim one of the chairs on ABC's "The View." The New York Post’s Page Six cites sources saying former “Today” co-host Ann Curry is being considered for the job.
One obstacle, though, is that Curry still has time left on her NBC contract, the story notes. Reps for NBC and ABC did not comment for the story.
Rosie O'Donnell has officially nailed down one of the empty seats on "The View," joining Whoopi Goldberg, as we reported last week.
Other candidates for the daytime talk show include Mario Cantone, Bernadette Peters, Leah Remini, S.E. Cupp and Meghan McCain, the story reports.
