Former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin continues to maintain a presence on television. TheWrap.com reports that her latest TV series, "Amazing America With Sarah Palin," was picked up for a second season by Sportsman Channel.

The show, from Pilgrim Studios, is set to return with 12 new episodes starting in the first quarter of 2015.

"The first season of 'Amazing America' featured 12 episodes and helped the network grow in households and male demographics year-to-year, Sportsman Channel boasted in a press release," the story reports.

Said Palin: “We're really excited about the second season of ‘Amazing America.' We're working on stories about people that go above and beyond to help others, really inspirational stuff that will encourage the entire nation.”

Added Marc Fein, executive vice president of programming and production for Sportsman Channel: “The return of ‘Amazing America’ is great news for the network. Sportsman Channel has experienced tremendous growth this year and Sarah Palin's involvement has proved to be an exciting boon for our network and programming initiatives.”

The show is executive produced by Craig Piligian, Jake Shelton and Brett Boydstun for Pilgrim Studios.
