Yahoo Answers the Big Question About Its Upcoming Revival of NBC’s ‘Community’

Yahoo discussed plans for its upcoming season six of the former NBC comedy series “Community,” and of particular interest was the lingering question of whether the streaming service will follow the Netflix model and release the entire 13-episode season at once — in other words, “binge-release” it.

Deadline.com reports that the answer is no. During the show’s panel at Comic-Con, Yahoo revealed that episodes will become available one per week, the story reports.

“As for when to expect Season 6, the only hint so far is that it won’t come before Christmas 2014,” the report notes.

The article adds: “Creator Dan Harmon quipped during the panel that everyone will be watching the show the way they always did — ‘except now legally.’”

In addition to Harmon, the piece notes that the panel included Joel McHale, producer Chris McKenna, Jim Rash, Gillian Jacobs and writer Dino Stamatopoulos.
