NBC has placed an order for another season of a comedy series. Deadline.com reports that the Peacock Network gave a 10-episode order for season two of “Undateable.”
The show transformed itself during its first season from what the article calls a summer burn-off to a solid performer that earned a sophomore season.
“Airing back-to-back originals, ‘Undateable’ premiered with a 1.3 rating in adults 18-49, almost doubling the debut of NBC’s 2013 comedy series ‘Save Me’ to post the highest-rated summer comedy premiere on the Big 4 networks in five years (since ABC’s toon ‘The Goode Family’ on 5/27/2009),” the story notes
“Overexcited to do 2nd season of ‘Undateable’ on NBC,” executive producer Bill Lawrence tweeted.
