A long-running cable drama series has received an order for two additional seasons, which will bring the show to eight seasons and 100 episodes. The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed reports that USA Network placed the order for two more seasons of “Royal Pains.”

The drama ended its sixth season Sept. 2, with an average of 3.36 million viewers. The renewal comes after the network also renewed “Suits” and “Satisfaction,” with “Royal Pains” remaining a cornerstone of USA Network’s scripted programming, the piece notes.

Two shows, “Graceland” and “Playing House,” are on the bubble, although it’s likely that “Graceland” will receive a renewal, the story adds.

“Royal Pains” stars Mark Feuerstein and focuses on a concierge medical practice in the Hamptons.
