A&E has scheduled Dick Wolf’s latest series for a January debut. Variety reports that the program, “Nightwatch,” an hour-long docuseries, will premiere Jan. 22.
It tracks emergency teams who work the overnight shift in New Orleans, and is from executive producers Wolf, Tom Thayer and Rasha Drachkovitch of 44 Blue Productions.
“’Nightwatch’ focuses on first responders, working the graveyard shift, in one of the world’s most notorious night cities — New Orleans,” Wolf told the publication. “We take the viewer behind the scenes in real time as EMS, police and fire respond to every kind of call possible, many of which are stranger than fiction.”
