Does Larry David Want to Wrap Up ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’? The Show’s Creator Answers That Question — and Places Odds on Whether We Might See More of the Series

Asked by Grantland whether it’s likely that there will be another season of HBO’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” creator Larry David said it’s unlikely.

“I guess the odds would be against it. I guess, right now, the odds would be against it, probably 6 to 1,” David said.

Asked whether he would consider a 90-minute special to wrap up the show, David was skeptical, pointing to the finale of “Seinfeld,” the wildly successful comedy series he co-created with Jerry Seinfeld.

“Well, you know, I got so much grief from the ‘Seinfeld’ finale, which a lot of people intensely disliked, that I no longer feel a need to wrap things up,” David said. He added, “It taught me a lesson that if I ever did another show, I wasn’t going to wrap it up.”

  1. Good Decision!

  2. NOOOOOoooooo. Curb Your Enthusiasm doesn’t have to ‘wrap up’…or end at all. Season 9 (and 10) are possible. It could come straight from THIS: Season 9 ! Curb Your Enthusiasm:
