Moments after he appeared at his arraignment on a murder charge, Death Row Records founder Marion “Suge” Knight was hospitalized Tuesday for medical evaluation, The Washington Post reports.

A spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department confirmed the report, according to the paper.

“Knight pleaded not guilty to murder, attempted murder, a hit-and-run and other charges in the death of a man run over by a car in Los Angeles last week, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office,” The Post reports. “A sheriff’s department spokesperson would not disclose the reason for the hospital evaluation, citing a policy against releasing personal medical information.”

As we recently reported, Knight was arrested following a confrontation in Compton in which he reportedly ran over two men in a parking lot, killing one man and injuring the other.
