Actor Johnny Depp suffered an injury while he was on location for the filming of “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales,” the fifth installment in the hit film series.

E! News reports that Depp injured his hand in Australia. The extent of the injury was not reported.

“Depp was photographed at Brisbane Airport with a bandage on his right arm Wednesday, and reports claim he will receive treatment in L.A.,” the story reports. “The actor flashed a gold tooth as he smiled for photographers on the tarmac.”

The injury reportedly did not happen during filming. The report notes that the movie’s scheduled release date of July 7, 2017, is unaffected by the injury, with production only slightly impacted.

“‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ began shooting its fifth installment last month. Espen Sandberg and Joachim Ronning are directing the movie, which will film entirely at Village Roadshow Studios and on locations within Queensland, Australia,” the report notes. “According to Walt Disney Pictures, production will wrap later this summer.”

Jerry Bruckheimer is producing the movie, which stars Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow along with Geoffrey Rush, Kevin R. McNally, Stephen Graham and Javier Bardem.
