One of the top executives at Time Warner Cable is out the door. The news that Chief Financial Officer Arthur Minson has left the company comes just days after word surfaced that Charter Communications is buying TWC.

Variety reports that the move is effective immediately, according to TWC, with Minson leaving to take on another position.

“Minson will become president and chief operating officer of WeWork, a privately held company based in New York City that provides corporate and officer services, both physical and virtual, to more than 25,000 members,” Variety reports. “He is expected to serve as a consultant to Time Warner Cable through the expected end of the Charter merger process.”

Minson’s duties will be assumed on an interim basis by William F. Osbourn Jr. and Matthew Siegel, Variety reports. Osbourn is currently senior VP-controller and chief accounting officer, and Siegel is senior VP and treasurer.
