DirecTV Rolling Out Access to New Movie Six Weeks Before Its Theatrical Release

As part of an initiative to bring newly released motion pictures to DirecTV customers in advance of their theatrical release, DirecTV announced that it is offering customers exclusive access to “Mississippi Grind” six weeks ahead of the film’s Sept. 25 release.

The movie stars Ben Mendelsohn, Ryan Reynolds and Sienna Miller, and is being offered as part of the company’s DirecTV Cinema program. Other movies that have been offered through the program include “Enemy,” “Life After Beth” and “Barely Lethal.”

“Mississippi Grind” will be available for 72-hour rental for $12.99 in HD and $11.99 in SD. Customers can stream the movie in the DirecTV On Demand library, from any device with the DirecTV Everywhere platform.
