A host who has been a part of an NBC program for 13 seasons is off the show. According to media reports, Alison Sweeney is leaving “The Biggest Loser.”

“Sweeney’s decision comes after hosting NBC’s inspirational weight-loss/competition series for 13 consecutive cycles, having replaced Caroline Rhea in Season 4,” TV Line reports.

The show’s producers provided a statement to “Access Hollywood” saying: “After an incredible run together, Alison Sweeney will not be returning as host of ‘The Biggest Loser’ next season.”

The program begins shooting its 17th season next month.

“Since joining ‘TBL’ in 2007, Sweeney has juggled the gig with her role as ‘Days of Our Lives’‘ Sami and the new Hallmark TV-movie franchise ‘Murder She Baked,'” TV Line notes.

“The Biggest Loser’s” most recent cycle reportedly averaged 4.5 million total viewers, with a 1.2 rating in the key 18-49 demo, off 30% from the previous season.
