‘General Hospital’ Actor Dead at 71

An actor, director and producer known for his role on the ABC soap opera “General Hospital” has died. Variety reports that Will MacMillan died Dec. 2 in Burbank, Calif., at 71.

MacMillan’s long career on TV, in film and on the stage included playing Boris on “General Hospital.” He made a string of guest appearances on TV from the 1970s through the 2000s, on shows including “Charlie’s Angels,” “Hill Street Blues,” “Moonlighting,” “L.A. Law” and “The West Wing.”

His work in feature films included co-starring in the George Romero movie “The Crazies” in 1973.
