Jimmy Kimmel challenged Donald Trump when he appeared Wednesday on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” focusing on Trump’s call for a ban on Muslims entering the U.S.

The Los Angeles Times notes that Kimmel talked about Trump before the GOP presidential front-runner came out: “The host was pulling no punches, characterizing billionaire Donald Trump as a bully and saying that at one point he had to decide ‘whether to buy the United States or just become our president.’”

  1. The negative spin attempted by the written copy is not supported by the clip! Watch the clip, Trump comes across well. The “crank call” remark was a throw away line for humor not a substantive comment. TV Week does better than most in avoiding blatant media bias but it is quite clear here.
