VH1 is calling it a wrap for a series that has become something of an institution for the cable channel. The series is “Mob Wives,” and Deadline.com reports that the upcoming sixth season will be the last for the reality show.

“Mob Wives: The Last Stand” is scheduled to debut Jan. 13.

“For the final cycle, the docuseries returns the focus exclusively to where it all began: New York City,” the report notes. “The Philly girls have left the building, and the ‘OG’ cast is back together on Staten Island, where they always keep it ‘one-hundred’ with one another.”

Said Nina Diaz, SVP East Coast Production & Development at  VH1: “’Mob Wives’ burst onto the pop culture scene as a provocative series that pioneered truly uncharted territory on television. We’re proud to have partnered with Jennifer Graziano, The Weinstein Company, Electus and Left/Right Productions on this groundbreaking franchise and thank everyone involved who helped deliver six riveting seasons to VH1 viewers.”
