Camille Cosby’s Court-Ordered Deposition Delayed

The wife of Bill Cosby won a delay of her court-ordered deposition, which had been set for Wednesday in Springfield, Mass., the AP reports. Camille Cosby was to have been questioned by lawyers for a number of women who are suing Bill Cosby for defamation.

Camille Cosby on Monday appealed the decision forcing her to be deposed in the lawsuit filed by women who have accused Bill Cosby of sexual assault. The judge ruled that the depostion should be delayed until her appeal is heard.

“The judge agreed Tuesday to the postponement, saying it would be unfair to deny Camille Cosby her right to appeal. But he also said if the appeal is denied, the deposition should be rescheduled as soon as possible,” the AP reports.

  1. Why should she be deposed? Are the victims claiming she was involved? This seems a bit odd.
