Turner has filled a key executive post, bringing aboard a veteran of Playboy Enterprises for a role with TBS and TNT. Deadline.com reports that Jimmy Jellinek joins the company as VP of content marketing and digital innovation for the two channels.
“It’s the latest move in the expansion of the marketing team for TBS and TNT under President and Chief Creative Officer Kevin Reilly, following the promotion of Jeff Gregor to chief catalyst officer for TBS and TNT, and the appointment of Michael Engleman as EVP entertainment marketing and brand innovation for the networks,” Deadline notes.
Jellinek, who was president of entertainment and chief content officer for Playboy Enterprises and editorial director for Playboy and Playboy.com, will be based in Los Angeles and will report to Engleman. “Jellinek is responsible for leading the development of all content marketing for TBS and TNT, as well as overseeing multiplatform content publishing and social media amplification,” Deadline adds.
