Golden Globes Broadcast Features Plenty of Celebrity Bleeping. What They Really Said …

Jan 11, 2016  •  Post A Comment

It wasn’t just Golden Globes host Ricky Gervais who got bleeped during the awards ceremony Sunday night. According to People magazine, Jonah Hill, with two bleeps, was part of a celebrity bleep contingent that also included Amy Schumer, Jaimie Alexander, Mark Wahlberg, Gael Garcia Bernal and Alejandro Inarritu, all with one bleep per celebrity.

Gervais was bleeped twice, the story reports, including during a memorable, albeit largely inaudible segment with Mel Gibson.

Alexander, presenting with Amber Heard, became frustrated by delays with the teleprompter and reportedly said, “Dude, who’s typing this s–t?” Schumer, appearing with Jennifer Lawrence, responded with the C-word when Lawrence asked what people call her, according to the story.

  1. The most annoying show ever, not just bleeping a word but entire sentences. Afraid for the kiddies who should be in bed? Put the damn thing on cable somewhere so adults can enjoy the entire show. I thought I was watching the Disney Channel. I can’t handle the words sugar tits? What a waste of time, half the show was bleeped.
