Bernie Sanders and Larry David to Appear Together on TV

Some observers, including Bernie Sanders, have hinted that Sanders and Larry David are the same person, but that rumor will be put to the test on this weekend’s edition of NBC’s “Saturday Night Live.”

Deadline.com reports that the Sanders campaign is saying the Democratic presidential contender will appear on “SNL.” David, who is set to guest-host, has previously done a Sanders impression on the sketch show.

Deadline notes that “doppelganger” appearances involving presidential candidates have become a tradition on “SNL.” Recent examples have included Hillary Clinton appearing in October, with Kate McKinnon performing as Clinton, and Donald Trump’s appearance in November, flanked by “faux Donalds” Taran Killam and Darrell Hammond during the opening.
