In a deal covering more than 3 million TV households, Time Warner Cable and the E.W. Scripps Co. have come to terms on a multiyear retransmission consent agreement, TVNewsCheck reports, citing a senior broadcast industry source.
Markets covered by the deal are Detroit; Milwaukee; Cleveland; Green Bay, Wis.; Cincinnati; Nashville; Tampa, Fla.; Omaha, Neb.; Buffalo, N.Y.; San Diego; Bakersfield, Calif.; Kansas City; Indianapolis; and Denver.
The report notes that the agreement also includes some systems owned by Brighthouse Cable, which is represented by Time Warner Cable in retransmission talks.
