ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” posted its best numbers in eight months last week in key measures, equaling its highest-rated Thursday telecast since June 2015, when Hillary Clinton made her second visit to the show March 24.
ABC announced that the program “tied its highest-rated late-night telecast on any night in 8 months in Households (2.5/6) in the 56 Metered Markets — since Monday, 7/27/15. Clinton’s first appearance on ‘Kimmel’ last November also delivered a 2.5/7 in HHs (on Thursday, 11/5/15).”
The announcement adds: “With additional guests Peter Krause and Fifth Harmony, ‘Kimmel’ matched its strongest Thursday telecast in Households since an NBA Finals-led telecast in June — since 6/11/15. Excluding the one NBA Finals-led telecast, ‘Kimmel’ tied its highest-rated Thursday telecast in HHs in 1 year – since President Obama’s visit on 3/12/15.”
I am not surprised that Fifth Harmony drove that type of viewership. They are great! And extremely popular with the young men that stay up late to watch Kimmel
