Actress Alison Brie, known for a string of performances on TV and in feature films, is featured in a fashion spread in the New York Post in which she opens up about her wild past. Brie tells the publication: “The biggest misconception about me is that I’m very wholesome.”
Commenting on her characters in “Mad Men” (Trudy Campbell) and “Community” (Annie Edison), Brie adds: “After playing Trudy and Annie back to back, people would say, ‘Oh, you’re like Miss Priss,’ and I’m really not. I had a very wild 20s.”
The actress goes on to say: “There was a period in my life where I was like, ‘The super fun girl!’ If I was going out with you, it was going to be a crazy night. Now I’m a lot more mellow.”
Brie’s feature film roles have included “How to Be Single,” “Scream 4” and “Sleeping With Other People.”
