Apr 21, 2016  •  Post A Comment

The iconic musician Prince, who was found dead Thursday at 57 in an elevator at his Paisley Park estate in Minnesota, was said to be upbeat and “extremely happy” over the last few months of his life, but E! News reports that the artist was experiencing ups and downs.

“The legendary singer battled the flu, but continued to perform for his fans to prove that he was going to be OK,” E! reports. “Leading up to [today], it was becoming increasingly clear that he went from healthy icon to sick star.”

The report includes a timeline of key events from October of last year until Prince’s death today.

Summing up the legendary performer’s final few weeks, the timeline reads: “April 2016: Prince cancels two concerts. He decides to rest before performing in Atlanta, but after the show his private plane was forced to make an emergency landing in Illinois because he had suffered a medical emergency. After about three hours, Prince got back on the plane and returned home. … He gave his final performance last Thursday.”

Prince gave an in-depth interview to Larry King on CNN in 1999. Below is the complete interview …
