Fox News Channel has hired one of the regulars from the A&E reality show “Duck Dynasty.” Deadline.com reports that Willie Robertson is on board as a contributor to the TV channel.

Robertson, who has endorsed Donald Trump, will also be hosting a Fox News Radio podcast, which debuts April 4.

“The Willie Robertson Podcast will focus on matters Robertson is already well known for, framed as ‘faith and family,’ in keeping with the evangelical views he often expresses on Duck Dynasty and in public appearances,” Deadline reports. “Robertson has already appeared numerous times on the network as a guest.”

  1. This is an April Fools joke?

    • I was about to say the same thing. You beat me to it.

      • HI Nick. Hi Guilty Cleric. Though we have no idea if Mr. Robertson’s podcasts or his contributions as a Fox News contributor will be all that they are quacked up to be, we can tell you that this story is not an April Fool’s day prank. We double-checked with the press folks at Fox News and they verified the hiring of Robertson. Here’s the official Fox News release:

FOX NEWS RADIO TO LAUNCH “THE WILLIE ROBERTSON PODCAST” ON MONDAY, APRIL 4TH

FOX News Radio (FNR) will launch a new podcast series with Duck Dynasty’s Willie Robertson beginning Monday, April 4th. The weekly program will focus on faith and family along with occasional celebrity guest interviews. Robertson will also serve as a FOX News contributor.

He has also co-written a New York Times bestseller entitled “The Duck Commander Family” alongside his wife, Korie Robertson.

  2. Where “Pop Culture” meets Journalism.. Wow…

  3. Wow. We are imploding.

  4. Well, if a reality star can run for President, I guess one can be a Fox contributor.
