Megyn Kelly (!) Lands One-on-One, No-Holds-Barred Interview With Donald Trump — How She Did It and When It Will Air

On the heels of a bitter, high-profile feud that dragged on for months between Donald Trump and Fox News host Megyn Kelly, the two have apparently agreed to bury the hatchet.

The New York Post’s Page Six reports: “Trump will sit for an in-depth interview on Kelly’s special, which airs on Fox on May 17, a source confirmed to Page Six. The move comes after the pair met for a summit at Trump Tower to make their peace.”

Kelly reportedly initiated the cease-fire, requesting the meeting with Trump, which took place April 13. Kelly later acknowledged on her FNC show “The Kelly File” that she had met with Trump, noting that she hoped to have news to announce soon.

The post quotes Kelly saying at the time that the meeting was “at my request, and Mr. Trump was gracious enough to agree to it. We met for about an hour, just the two of us, and I had a chance to clear the air.”

Now that the one-on-one has been arranged, sources are saying that nothing will be off limits. The special will be titled “Megyn Kelly Presents.”

Fox News noted that extended selections from the Trump interview will air on “The Kelly File” beginning Wednesday, May 18, the day after the special airs.
