National Enquirer TV Series Set to Bow With High-Profile Celebrity Subjects

Apr 26, 2016  •  Post A Comment

After attempting to roll out a TV series four years ago, the National Enquirer is ready for prime time. Reelz Channel announced plans this week to premiere “National Enquirer Investigates” Saturday, May 28, at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

The announcement promises that the documentary series “will reveal bombshell new theories and never-before-seen evidence regarding the scandalous lives and deaths of iconic Hollywood stars Marilyn Monroe, Charlie Sheen, O.J. Simpson, Whitney Houston and Bobbi Kristina Brown, Natalie Wood and Elvis Presley.”

The publication was at NATPE back in early 2012 with a show to sell, which TVWeek covered at the time with a post by Open Mic blogger Chuck Ross — you can click here to revisit Chuck’s entertaining report from the front lines.
