A new series premieres tonight on Showtime, and the pay cable net is making available the premiere episode of the show to non-Showtime subscribers. “All Access: Quest for the Stanley Cup,” from Showtime Sports, begins running tonight on multiple platforms.

The episode will be available for sampling after 9:30 p.m. ET on the Showtime Sports YouTube channel and Facebook page, and on the SHO.com website.

The show premieres tonight on the linear channel at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The premiere episode will also find its way to the NHL Network later tonight, and will be available on a variety of mobile devices and apps.

“Produced in conjunction with NHL Original Productions, the real-time, behind-the-scenes documentary series is the first of its kind to nationally televise the championship of a major North American sport as it unfolds,” Showtime says in its announcement. “Weekly, half-hour episodes offer unprecedented access to the Eastern Conference Final pitting the Tampa Bay Lightning against the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Western Conference Final featuring the San Jose Sharks versus the St. Louis Blues. The series will continue with intimate and never-before-seen coverage as two teams square off in the Stanley Cup Final and chase what many call the hardest trophy to win in all of sports — the Stanley Cup.”
