A popular actress was removed from a plane on a stretcher and taken to a nearby hospital after what’s being reported as an “outburst” in mid-flight. TMZ.com reports that the incident involving Selma Blair took place Monday on a Delta flight from Cancun to LAX.

“Witnesses … tell us, Blair was in first class and drinking wine. The witnesses say it appeared she combined something — perhaps medication — with her glass of wine,” TMZ reports.

Blair reportedly began crying and blurted out: “He burns my private parts. He won’t let me eat or drink.”

She also reportedly said: “He beats me. He’s going to kill me.”

TMZ reports that the pilot radioed ahead to notify officials at LAX of a passenger who had allegedly been mixing alcohol and meds.

Blair, 43, had a breakout role in 1999’s “Cruel Intentions” before becoming known for a string of film roles including “Hellboy,” “Legally Blonde” and “The Fog.” She has had a number of TV roles, including two seasons as a regular on “Anger Management.” She recently played Kris Jenner on FX’s “American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson.”
