Actress Drew Barrymore reportedly has been in development talks for a move to TV with her own talk show. Variety cites sources saying Barrymore has been in discussions with Warner Bros. and Ellen DeGeneres’ A Very Good Production about a development deal.

“Sources emphasized that there’s no deal in place for Barrymore on the talk show front yet, but the conversations have been ongoing. If a deal were to come to fruition, DeGeneres would be an exec producer,” Variety notes.

The actress already is working with Warner Bros. TV’s Shed Media on the upcoming NBC reality show “First Dates,” which will be narrated by Barrymore. She has been increasingly active in television production, including executive producer roles on Esquire’s “Knife Fight” and VH1’s “Tough Love.”
