NBA Finals MVP LeBron James just wrapped up the first major sports title for the city of Cleveland in 52 years, but he’s not stopping there. The Cleveland Cavaliers’ star forward, a native of Northeast Ohio, will continue his focus on the city with a new TV series, “Cleveland Hustles,” which will run on CNBC.
The series will team Cleveland business leaders with local entrepreneurs seeking to launch their own brick-and-mortar stores. James and his business partner Maverick Carter are behind the series, with B. Bonin Bough set to host. The lineup of entrepreneurs and mentors was just announced by CNBC.
Set in the city’s rebuilding Gordon Square Arts District, the show premieres Aug. 24.
