Domestic diva Martha Stewart, 74, let on that she’s no fan of millennials, commenting in a new interview with Luxury Listings that, essentially, they’re lazy.
Stewart told the publication: “I think every business is trying to target millennials. But who are millennials? Now we are finding out that they are living with their parents. They don’t have the initiative to go out and find a little apartment and grow a tomato plant on the terrace.”
Stewart acknowledged that the generation is facing some tough obstacles. “I understand the plight of younger people,” she said. “The economic circumstances out there are very grim. But you have to work for it. You have to strive for it. You have to go after it.”
Stewart covers a wide range of topics in the in-depth interview, which you can read in full by clicking on the link to Luxury Listings at the top of this story.
