Report Paints a Grim Picture of Bill Cosby’s Current Life — Including That He Has Gone Blind

Disgraced comedian Bill Cosby, once a fixture of prime-time TV who became known as “America’s Dad,” is suffering from a degenerative eye disease and has gone “completely blind,” according to a source quoted by The New York Post’s Page Six.

The report quotes what it calls “a well-placed source” saying that Cosby, 79, is living “in his own personal hell.” The report says Cosby “is now confined to his Pennsylvania home with only his incomprehensibly loyal wife, Camille, at his side.”

The Post quotes the source close to Cosby saying: “His alleged victims may take some solace in the fact that he’s in his own personal hell. He has been suffering from a degenerative eye disease and is completely blind. … All his Hollywood friends have turned their backs on him.”

The source adds: “He is confined to his house in Pennsylvania, and the only person on his side is his wife, Camille, who is masterminding his defense. His only friends are the small army of lawyers on his payroll.”

Media reports have noted that Cosby’s eyesight appears to have been fading for some time. “It explains why he is led into court by lawyers and reps on both of his arms,” the Post notes.

Cosby has been ordered to stand trial in Pennsylvania on sexual assault charges stemming from a 2004 case involving Andrea Constand.

“But on Monday a judge in his civil case ruled Cosby will be allowed to sue Constand — who claims he drugged and raped her in 2004 — for allegedly breaching a confidentiality agreement she signed with him after he settled with her out of court in 2006,” the report notes.

  1. You think O.J. Simpson fell a long way? Right there with him is Bill Cosby. Used to LOVE his hilarious records like “To Russell, My Brother, Whom I Slept With” and other comedy routines. This is nothing more than a sympathy ploy (even if it is true). Cosby gonna pay the piper!!

  2. Poor guy..not!!
