With the Fox News boss under fire from a sexual harassment lawsuit filed by recently departed Fox News host Gretchen Carlson, some of the network’s other female on-air personalities have come to Roger Ailes’ defense.

People magazine reports that both Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Ainsley Earhardt have added their voices in support of Ailes.

Hasselbeck released a statement to the publication today saying: “Speaking from my personal experience, working for Roger Ailes and with Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade was by far the most rewarding time in my 16-year broadcasting career because Roger, Steve and Brian consistently treated me with overwhelming respect, and pure-hearted kindness, for which I am forever thankful.”

Hasselbeck left “Fox & Friends” in December after more than two years on the show. She replaced Carlson on the show in 2013 and was one of the co-hosts with Doocy, who was the subject of some of Carlson’s complaints.

People quotes Earhardt, a current co-host on “Fox & Friends” with Doocy and Kilmeade, saying of Ailes: “I want the public to know that this is a man with a really good heart. In my experience, he has had my best interest in mind and he has my family’s best interest in mind. He is a family man and he is a father figure, and I will always be grateful to him for giving me a promotion when a lot of people wouldn’t have.”
