NBC Reveals Lineup of Stars for Its Post-Trump ‘New Celebrity Apprentice’; Network Also Takes Wraps Off Plans for Final Season of ‘Grimm’ … and More

NBC has rolled out a batch of programming news, including the premiere date and celebrity lineup for “The New Celebrity Apprentice.” This will be the first installment in the “Apprentice” franchise following the departure of Donald Trump.

Arnold Schwarzenegger takes over as host of the show, which will premiere Monday, Jan. 2, from 8-10 p.m. NBC released the following list of celebrity contestants:

  • Brooke Burke-Charvet
  • Eric Dickerson
  • Boy George
  • Matt Iseman
  • Carrie Keagan
  • Carson Kressley
  • Lisa Leslie
  • Jon Lovitz
  • Vince Neil
  • Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi
  • Kyle Richards
  • Chael Sonnen
  • Porsha Williams
  • Ricky Williams
  • Carnie Wilson

NBC also announced that the sixth and final season of “Grimm” will bow Friday, Jan. 6, at 8 p.m., with the two-hour premiere of the new fantasy show “Emerald City” leading out from it on Jan. 6 from 9-11 p.m. “Emerald City” will settle into its Friday 9-10 p.m. slot the following week.
