Will a TV Marathon Airing Tonight Help Salvage U.S. Swimmer Ryan Lochte’s Image?

It may seem like odd timing given the scandalous conclusion to swimmer Ryan Lochte’s visit to Rio, but Esquire Network announced that it will air a marathon tonight of the reality show “What Would Ryan Lochte Do?”

The show premiered in April 2013 on Esquire corporate sibling E! Entertainment, and focused on Lochte’s exploits following his strong performance at the 2012 London Olympics. The eight half-hour episodes will re-air on Esquire from 6-10 p.m. ET/PT today, Aug. 19.

“The series attempts to answer the age-old-question of ‘What Would Ryan Lochte Do?’ when it comes to dating, training, fashion design, and when asked to define his trademark slogan, ‘JEAH!,'” Esquire says in its announcement. “Peppered throughout the show are also those unpredictable, unfiltered and delightfully uninhibited ‘Lochteisms’ for which he has already become legend. For example, on his regular swimming ritual: ‘I always pee in the pool … doesn’t everyone?'”
