Did Sean Hannity Go Too Far With His Trump Advocacy? Fox News Apparently Thinks So

Sep 21, 2016  •  Post A Comment

“Sean Hannity has made no secret of his zeal for a Donald Trump presidency, but may have taken his passion for the candidate a little too far,” Variety reports. “Fox News says the primetime host will no longer be able to appear in promotions for a presidential candidate after he was spotted making a cameo in an eight-minute-long video from the Republican nominee’s campaign that surfaced on YouTube.”

In a statement, Fox News said: “We were not aware of Sean Hannity participating in a promotional video and he will not be doing anything along these lines for the remainder of the election season.”

Variety adds: “During a brief appearance in the video, Hannity lists some reasons why he chose to back Trump, citing the candidate’s vow to eliminate President Obama’s ‘Obamacare’ health-care system for people who do not have other kinds of health insurance to his policy on immigration.”

  1. Aw, C’mon. What’s the difference between Hannity in a YouTube video and 24 hours of FOX NEWSCHANNEL programming ??? Nothing. Maybe the FOX bosses are just worried that YouTube will get more hits than Fox’s website. What a joke !!!!!!

  2. TRUMP 2016!

  3. Rump 2016

  4. The marching boots of Fascism always make the same sound. I can hear it now: “Trump..trump..trump..trump….”

  5. It is as easy as ABC – Anybody But Clinton! Sean Hannity life and income are dependent upon keeping free speech (that pesky 1st Amendment thing) alive. Clinton and her liberal allies have already stated they want to silence any opposing speech. They (liberals, Democrats, socialists) have always worked the same way with controlling public airways as a first priority. Fascism and other forms of socialism depend upon it. It obviously appears that the American people want something other than a lawyer, politician or Clinton in the White House. Mr. Trump has those qualifications!

  6. Funny how in history there is only one example of fascism beginning from the right and that would be Salvador Allende of Chile. All others have come from socialism/communism and the left and their bleating sheep are sheepishly calling Trump a fascist with nothing to base it on. He may be a buffoon, a blowhard, politically incorrect among other things, but their is nothing that points to him as fascist or the next Hitler. On the other hand, Hillary with her fealty to Saul Alinsky and his fascistic teachings and her desire to. over time, remove the Second Amendment’s, “Right to bear arms,” to the citizenry and her penchant for secrecy and legal speak and double dealing should leave anyone who is remotely paying attention to gravitate toward Trump as the far lesser of two evils.

  7. There is a reason there are two parties and the above comments display why we have them. The first amendment lets everyone speak no matter what their position.

  8. Please, do not worry. Mr. Hannity will soon be dumped after the election. The next causality at FOX NEWS. Sean stands by his word and beliefs and this is what I admire greatly about him.

However, he seems to have crossed that little line which prohibiting pushing one’s own personal agenda versus that of which is “already out there.” He looks like an old lady with blue hair. But then again, this is just how my neighbor’s metro-sexual boy dresses so it may be an “in” thing.

Seriously, my prediction is that Hannity will be toast and they will either move “On the Record” with rotating hosts to that time slot, and move the weekend Judge show to weeknights at 7 p.m. in order to battle out Campbell Soup Brown and Ashleigh B’s court show on HLN.

Hannity no longer “fits” what is right, but rather his own self-righteousness…Just like his former boss Roger Ailes….
