Simon Cowell will continue his onscreen role on NBC’s competition series “America’s Got Talent” for at least three more years.

“The creator of the ‘Got Talent’ format has signed a new deal with NBC to remain a judge of the hit summer series through 2019,” Deadline.com reports. “He’ll also continue his role as executive producer.”

Cowell joined the onscreen lineup for the past season of “AGT” and had already been announced as a judge for season 12. The new deal locks him in for an additional two season.

In announcing the new deal, Paul Telegdy, President, Alternative and Reality Group, NBC Entertainment, said: “It was terrific to see Simon in his judge’s chair this past season, bringing his unique expertise and enthusiasm to the show, night after night. His brilliance has made ‘AGT’ the industry leader that it is today and his ability to evaluate and spot talent is unmatched, so we couldn’t be happier to have him seated at the judge’s table for the next three years.”
