In a sitdown interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper televised Monday night, Melania Trump called accusations against her husband “lies” and defended his language on the controversial behind-the-scenes “Access Hollywood” tape from 2005 as “boy talk.”

Her husband, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, has been on the defensive since the tape surfaced Oct. 7, followed by accusations of sexual misconduct against Trump by numerous women.

Melania Trump likened the conversation between her husband and Billy Bush on the “Access Hollywood” tape to “two teenage boys,” adding, “Actually, they should behave better, right?”

Talking about recent accusations of sexual misconduct, Melania Trump said: “I believe my husband,” adding: “This was all organized from the opposition. And with the details … did they ever check the background of these women? They don’t have any facts.”
