A movie about alleged sexual harassment by former Fox News chief Roger Ailes, with Megyn Kelly and other women at the cable channel at the center of the story, is in the works at Megan Ellison’s Annapurna Pictures, according to an exclusive today by The Hollywood Reporter.

The studio snagged the project being pitched by Charles Randolph, a writer on the 2015 feature “The Big Short.”

“Randolph, who won an Oscar in February for co-writing with Adam McKay the chronicle of the financial crisis of the mid-2000s, is writing the project that will focus on Megyn Kelly and the women who brought down the man once considered the most powerful in media with accusations of sexual harassment, as well as the wife, Elizabeth Tilson, who propped him up,” THR reports.

A TV project about Ailes is also in the works, based on Gabriel Sherman’s Ailes biography “The Loudest Voice in the Room” and on Sherman’s reporting on Ailes as national affairs editor for New York magazine.
