Greta Van Susteren Being Hit From the Left and the Right Over Her Channel Jump

Veteran TV talking head Greta Van Susteren, who is moving to MSNBC after a long run on Fox News Channel — a move that covers much more ground in terms of political ideology than it does on the TV dial — says she’s hearing it from critics at both ends of the political spectrum.

Van Susteren discussed the move in an appearance on Rachel Maddow’s MSNBC show — you can watch the clip below. Asked whether her fans from Fox News are upset with her for “crossing enemy lines,” Van Susteren said: “Oh, listen, I’m getting hit from the right and left. But that happens. You know it, too, being in the business. People get mad at you every single night.”

Here’s the clip, posted by MSNBC, which includes archive footage of some Van Susteren moments at Fox News. Her live interview with Maddow begins around the 3:22 mark …
