Daytime Emmy Nominations Announced — One Network Leads the Pack; See the Full List of Nominations

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced the nominations today for the 44th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards. The ceremony will take place Sunday, April 30, at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium.

CBS is the front-runner among networks with 71 nominations, according to the academy announcement, while Amazon is the big player among streamers with 50 nods. PBS had 40 nominations, ABC secured 38 and NBC and Netflix each pulled in 36. Syndicated programming compiled 50 nods.

The top nominees among individual programs were “The Young and the Restless” with 25; “The Bold and the Beautiful” and “General Hospital,” each with 23; and “Days of Our Lives” with 22.
