One of the stars of the hit CBS comedy “Two and a Half Men” resurfaced with a new sitcom project at ABC. The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed reports that Jon Cryer, a two-time Emmy winner for “Men,” is making his return to broadcast television to star in the ABC pilot “Losing It.”

Cryer won Emmys for the CBS comedy in 2009 — for supporting actor — and 2012 — for lead actor — part of a string of seven nominations for Cryer from 2006-2012 for his performance as Alan Harper on the series.

“‘Losing It’ is a single-camera half-hour comedy about three adult siblings and their parents who — between their minds, their marriages, their freedom, and their lives — are all losing it in different ways,” THR notes.

The report adds that DJ Nash (“Up All Night”) will write the script and executive produce along with Kapital Entertainment’s Aaron Kaplan and Dana Honor. Julie Anne Robinson will direct the pilot, which is in the works at ABC Studios.
