The co-anchor of CNN’s “New Day,” Alisyn Camerota, who previously worked at Fox News for 16 years, has come forward to accuse former Fox News CEO Roger Ailes of sexual harassment and “emotional harassment,” reports CNN.

Camerota also says Ailes sometimes berated her for not adding a conservative slant to the programs she was on.

The story adds: “On Sunday an attorney for Ailes, Susan Estrich, denied Camerota’s account. ‘These are unsubstantiated and false allegations,’ she said. ‘Mr. Ailes never engaged in the inappropriate conversations she now claims occurred, and he vigorously denies this fictional account of her interactions with him and of Fox News’ editorial policy.’”

Camerota spoke about her allegations on Sunday’s “Reliable Sources” on CNN. Here’s the video clip:

  1. Accuse Ailes, get great publicity, and you never have to prove a thing; great scam.

    • Accuse any news you don’t like of being “fake,” get smug satisfaction, and you never have to be right and can go around thinking that you are and continuing to post meaningless comments; great self-delusional approach to life.

  2. I totally believe it. Ailes is an asshole.

  3. One has to wonder why Alisyn Camerota waited until now to make her accusation? The first person to do something gets the most publicity and is most remembered in peoples minds. So she couldn’t be number one. But then as multiple other woman came forth with accusations, why didn’t she join the herd? Is it because she knew she would get more publicity making her accusations when there was no other person in the Ailes-bashing competition? I’m just curious why. I wonder if she will ever reveal why she waited? Of course, if she waited so she could be the only contestant in the Ailes-bashing competition, she probably would never admit to that.
