Showtime Goes All In on Boxing, Books Blockbuster Heavyweight Bout

Showtime rolled out an impressive lineup of upcoming boxing telecasts anchored by the blockbuster heavyweight world title fight between Anthony Joshua and Wladimir Klitschko. The pay-cable channel calls the bout “the most significant heavyweight world championship fight in more than a decade.”

The fight will air live on Showtime on Saturday, April 29, at 4:15 p.m. ET/1:15 p.m. PT from a sold-out Wembley Stadium, where a record crowd of more than 90,000 spectators is expected.

Another big bout features welterweights Andre Berto and Shawn Porter this Saturday, April 22.

Showtime released details about each of the upcoming bouts in a detailed announcement containg the channel’s full spring boxing schedule — which includes seven world championship fights over a span of eight weeks.
