NBC is adding a chart-topping singer to the lineup of coaches on its singing competition “The Voice.” The network announced today that Kelly Clarkson will join the show as a coach for season 14.

Clarkson will join Blake Shelton and Adam Levine, with a fourth coach still to be named.

The news comes one day after NBC named Jennifer Hudson as a coach for season 13, where she will be a part of a lineup that also includes Shelton and Levine along with Miley Cyrus. Season 13 will premiere this fall.

Clarkson is a three-time Grammy winner who has sold more than 21 million albums worldwide.

Said Paul Telegdy, president of the Alternative and Reality Group at NBC Entertainment: “Kelly has been a part of ‘The Voice’ family for many years as an adviser and performer. We are thrilled she has chosen to join us as a coach to mentor the next generation through our unique vocal boot camp. Every time Kelly Clarkson sings you are reminded what an incredible voice really is. We are looking forward to the sound of Kelly Clarkson on ‘The Voice.'”
