HBO today firmed up plans for the return of the comedy series “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” with cast members Larry David, Jeff Garlin, Susie Essman and JB Smoove among those who will be back for season nine.

The show returns for a 10-episode season on Sunday, Oct. 1, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on HBO.

David created and executive produces the series with Garlin and Jeff Schaffer.

Fans of the offbeat sitcom have been waiting for the show’s return since season eight wrapped in 2011.
