Cable Service Names New President and CEO

The appointment of a new president and chief executive officer was announced today by the cable TV service iN Demand. The company, owned by Comcast, Charter Communications and Cox Communications, is bringing aboard cable industry veteran Dale Hopkins for the post.

Hopkins will relocate from Los Angeles to iN Demand’s New York City headquarters.

“Ms. Hopkins will bring her vast knowledge of distribution and sales, operations, financial planning, multi-platform content, marketing, creative, PR, branding and entrepreneurism to her new position at the country’s leading transactional distribution company,” iN Demand notes in today’s announcement. “Those skills, combined with her leadership and strategic vision, innovative thinking and keen intelligence, make her the perfect leader to guide iN Demand as it navigates the complex content marketplace going forward.”

  1. I thought Charter and Spectrum was the company. Owned by Time-Warner. Isn’t that right?
