Production on “Mission: Impossible 6” shut down after the film’s star, Tom Cruise, broke his ankle on the set over the weekend, Variety reports.

Filming, which has been taking place in London, is expected to be halted for six weeks to three months while Cruise recovers. Along with the broken ankle, he may also have injured his hip.

Paramount released a statement saying: “During production on the latest ‘Mission: Impossible’ film, Tom Cruise broke his ankle while performing a stunt. Production will go on hiatus while Tom makes a full recovery, and the film remains on schedule to open July 27, 2018. Tom wants to thank you all for your concern and support and can’t wait to share the film with everyone next summer.”
