A comedy series that has had a pretty good run on cable will wrap after one more season. Announcing plans today for “Portlandia,” IFC said season eight will be the show’s last.

The season, which premieres Jan. 18, 2018, will consist of 10 episodes and will air on Thursday nights.

New and returning guest stars will include Rachel Bloom, John Corbett, Terry Crews, Jeff Goldblum, Rashida Jones, Kyle MacLachlan, John Mulaney, Nick Kroll and Krist Novoselic, among others.

“Created by Fred Armisen, Carrie Brownstein and Jonathan Krisel, ‘Portlandia’ is a playful satire of life in Portland, Oregon,” IFC noted in today’s announcement. The series is executive produced by Lorne Michaels and produced by Broadway Video.
